Tampere University is inviting applications for two positions in Economics: Assistant Professor (tenure track) and Postdoctoral Research Fellow.
The persons to be appointed will be part of the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Tax Systems Research (FIT). FIT studies the effects and design of multiple aspects of public policy. Our research program is very broad, covering a multitude of topics related to public finance, labor, health, and environmental economics, and industrial organization. Our research utilizes empirical, experimental, and theoretical methods, together with world-class register data on individuals and firms.
We are seeking accomplished early-career academics with the potential to organize and conduct innovative, top-quality research in their field. The positions are part of FIT, but the exact field of specialization within economics is open. We expect successful applicants to produce research papers for top international academic journals.
